History:

Since it was founded in 1980, New England culinary Institute, a co-educational private school, situated in Montpelier, Vermont, has been providing culinary education and producing lovers of cooking into professional chefs.

Nearly 30 years ago, NECI opened with a class of seven pioneer students and now it has boasted to over 500 students of diverse background, races and ages. Throughout the history, the School has constantly added new programs to reflect the continuous change in the food and beverage industry.  The School started of with one program in1990 but in present it has expanded its culinary education programs to over nine in different areas of culinary arts, baking and pastry and hospitality and restaurant management.

In addition to on-campus classes and training New England Culinary Institute is proud to present online educational courses and has opened its gates of professional programs to the world.
